 So with all of this talk about the finances of Chartwell, one can only wonder how those at its helm live. Given the amount of debt the company is in, as well as the profile and lifestyle of its average employees, its reasonable to assume that Lilley and Kidan to live modestly. Their online footprint- mainly that of Lilley and his Instagram loving girlfriend, Karen- tell a much different story. Ana Karen Lopez is the 20 something mother of Holmes Lilley's daughter. Her lifestyle, which she flaunts openly on Instagram (here), tells of a lavish life of exotic cars, designer clothes, and expensive trips. Holmes spares no expense when it comes to keeping Karen happy. I itemized the most impressive items in her cache below.

The Apple Fell Further

No doubt you have gathered that Holmes Lilley is bit impulsive, showy and driven by his most primal impulses, but the question now remains why? Well, finding out is actually a bit easy if you just use Google. In a profile of Holmes posted  here , Holmes gives us his background. Born in North Carolina, he describes his upbringing as tumultuous and unstable, with his mother working three jobs and resorting to welfare to make ends meet for herself and her children. There is absolutely no shame in this, as sometimes we all need some help, and it surely isn't responsible for the troubles seen later on its Holmes' character, but it likely didn't help. Tracy Kidan and the Tax Man

While the CEO of Chartwell is Holmes Lilley, the company’s president, founder, and majority owner is Tracy Schneider-Kidan. She resides in the same county as the company’s headquarters, and if one searches the county clerk’s website ( http://prothonotary.co.lancaster.pa.us/civilcourt.public ) using her name as the search-term query, there are several cases that pop up. Of these cases, three are harbingers of the currently dire financial situation that Chartwell is in. I will enumerate on that later, but first, let’s discuss these cases visible on Lancaster County’s website.   In February of 2016, a federal tax lien was filed by the IRS for $228,828.64 against Mrs. Schneider-Kidan.
